What It Costs to Detail an SUV, Truck, or 3-Row in DFW

The short answer

An SUV, a full-size truck, and a three-row all start at the same published price as a sedan. A Full Detail starts at $225, a maintenance exterior at $99, and interior work at $149, whatever you drive.

That is a deliberate change. Size classes asked you to guess which bracket your car fell into, and they got the reason wrong anyway: a clean three-row is faster work than a neglected sedan. What we quote you now depends on the state of the vehicle, and the tech confirms it in your driveway before any work starts.

What actually takes the extra time

None of the following puts a truck in a more expensive bracket on its own. They are what the tech is looking at when confirming your price, and on a well-kept vehicle they change nothing.

  • A third row that has been lived in, which is the hardest area in any vehicle to vacuum and shampoo properly.
  • A cargo area or a bed that has carried building materials, sports gear, or a dog.
  • Caked mud in four wheel wells, which is a rinse on one truck and twenty minutes on another.
  • Pet hair woven into cargo carpet, which is the single most common reason a quote moves.
  • Ground-in stains or a lingering odor, both of which are treatable but take real time.

Price your exact vehicle

Pick your service in the booking flow and the total is shown before you confirm, including add-ons. No size class to choose. Two household vehicles in one visit save $20.

How to keep the number down

Buy the halves separately. On a big family vehicle the interior is the labor-heavy part, so an Interior Detail twice a year plus an exterior on a rhythm costs less than repeated full details.

Use all-weather mats and a cargo liner. On a three-row they prevent most of what turns a routine detail into a quoted one. And if the household has more than one large vehicle, book them in the same visit: $20 comes off two cars and $50 off three.

Book before it gets bad rather than after. The condition that raises a price is almost always the result of a car going twelve months without attention, not of the car being large.

Where a big vehicle genuinely differs

Size still changes the work even though it no longer changes the starting price. Knowing where it lands helps you book the right service the first time.

  • A third row has to be folded, worked around, and cleaned in a space with no room to stand, so it is part of the Interior Detail rather than something you add on.
  • Taller roof and hood panels need a step to reach safely, which is why a rushed exterior on a truck shows streaks a sedan would not.
  • Larger wheels and four wheel wells hold more road grime, so the decontamination in the Exterior Detail earns its place faster on a truck.
  • More glass, including a large tailgate window, which streaks if it is hurried.

Common questions

  • The same starting price as any other vehicle. A Full Detail starts at $225, an exterior-only detail at $99, and interior-only work at $149. What the SUV is carrying, not how big it is, decides whether the final number moves.

  • Not to start with. A truck and a sedan are published at the same price. A truck that has been working, with mud in the wheel wells and a bed that has carried everything, can price above that once the tech has looked at it, and you hear that number before any work begins.

  • Every vehicle starts at the same price, so the saving comes from booking them together rather than from their size: two cars save $20 and three save $50, since setup and travel only happen once.

  • Sometimes, because roof and upper panels need a step to reach safely and the underbody and wheel wells usually hold far more mud. Mention a lift when you book so the tech brings the right setup and confirms the price before starting.
