The problem we fix
Marine detailing is where quoting games are worst: a per-foot number on the phone, then a revised total once the boat is on the rack. Meanwhile owners genuinely cannot tell whether their hull needs a wax or a full compound. Boaters need published rates and an honest read on whether correction is worth the money.

Our professional process
- 1
Length, type, and where it sits
Send us the length overall, what kind of boat it is, and whether it is on a trailer, on a rack, or in a slip. A photo of the hull side tells us most of what we need.
- 2
An honest read on the gelcoat
We tell you whether a wax will do it or whether the hull genuinely needs correction. Correction costs real money and we would rather you spend it only when it will pay off.
- 3
Walkaround and written price
We walk the boat with you, show you the and the mildew up close, and confirm the exact price in writing before anything starts.
- 4
Detail, seal, and photograph
Hull, deck, cockpit, and compartments, worked in order. You get before-and-after photos of every corrected panel and a final walkaround.
Your starting price, published
These are the published rates, not a phone estimate. Per-foot work carries a base that covers arriving self-sufficient with our own water and power, then a rate for every foot of length. Your exact price is confirmed in writing after we walk it with you.

- In-slip or on-water serviceWe work the boat in its slip. Covers the extra setup, containment, and dock access.$5/ft
A base plus a per-foot rate on length overall. In-slip service adds $5 per foot. See the full rate card and build your own estimate on the RV and boat page.
Specialty estimates are starting ranges based on length and package, not a locked total. Surface condition is the biggest cost driver on an RV or a boat, and oxidation, chalking, mildew, and heavy staining are impossible to judge from a form. We confirm your exact price in writing after we see the craft, before any work begins.

Rinse the hull and flush after every freshwater outing, and get the boat covered rather than parked open. A waxed hull re-waxed each spring holds gloss for years; an unwaxed one chalks in two summers and then needs compounding, which costs several times more.
The honest answers
A base plus a per-foot rate on length overall: $75 plus $5 per foot for a wash and vacuum, $180 plus $16 per foot for our most-booked Deluxe Boat Detail, and $350 plus $28 per foot for Gelcoat Restoration. On a 22 foot bowrider that is about $185, $530, and $965. Heavy or adds $14 per foot.
Yes, on all the DFW lakes we serve. In-slip and on-water service adds $5 per foot, which covers the extra setup and containment needed to work over water without putting anything into it.
If the gelcoat still has gloss and the problem is a scum line and dullness, a wax is the right call. If the surface is chalky and leaves residue on your hand, it is and needs compounding. We check it in person and tell you plainly, including when correction is not worth it.
Normal mildew comes out with our standard vinyl work in the deluxe tier. Vinyl that has gone black in the seams needs a heavy mildew treatment, which is a $119 add-on. We tell you which one you need before we start, and we are honest when staining is permanent.
Tell us the length and where it sits.
Send a couple of photos with it. We come back with a real range, usually within the hour, and a written price before anyone touches it.
