The short answer
There is one detail, and you choose how much of the car it covers. The interior detail is steam, hot-water extraction, leather conditioning and UV protection on every surface, from $149. The exterior detail is a safe hand wash, full iron and clay decontamination and a hand-applied sealant that holds up to six months, from $99. Both together is $225.
No tiers to compare and no depth to guess at. Every price is a starting price for one car, and the tech confirms your number in the driveway before any work begins.
What actually happens to the car
A detail is not a longer wash. It is different work, with different equipment and different dwell times.
| Interior | Exterior | Both | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hand wash and wheels | No | Yes | Yes |
| Iron and clay decontamination | No | Yes, every panel | Yes, every panel |
| Paint sealant | No | Up to six months | Up to six months |
| Deep vacuum and steam | Yes | No | Yes |
| Carpet and seat extraction | Yes | No | Yes |
| Leather conditioned | Yes | No | Yes |
| Starting price | $149 | $99 | $225 |
What each service covers

How to pick without guessing
Three questions settle it almost every time.
- 1Run the back of your hand over the paint after a wash. If it feels gritty, the paint needs decontamination, so the exterior is the half to buy.
- 2Look at the carpets and cloth seats in daylight. Visible stains rather than dust mean extraction, so the interior is the half to buy.
- 3If both are true, or it has been more than six months, book both together and save against buying them separately.
Not sure which one your car needs?
Book the one you think fits. The tech confirms it in your driveway before starting, and will tell you straight if a smaller service would do the job. Interior details start at $149, exteriors at $99, and the full car at $225.
Why you can buy half a car
The two halves of a car wear out at completely different speeds, which is why they are sold separately.
A daily driver that lives outside usually needs the exterior handled every few weeks and the interior twice a year. A garage-kept car with kids in it is the opposite. Buying exterior-only at $99 on a rhythm, and a deep interior once or twice a year, costs less over a year than repeatedly buying the whole car.
Where a detail stops
Knowing the ceiling prevents the most common disappointment, which is expecting paint correction from a detail.
| What you might want | Whether a detail does it |
|---|---|
| Bonded contamination and set-in stains | Yes, that is the job |
| Swirl marks and scratches | No, those need machine correction |
| Deep etching in the clear coat | No, that needs correction too |
| Cracked leather, curb rash, failed clear coat | No, that is repair rather than detailing |
