Ozone destroys odor molecules in the air and on surfaces. It does not remove the milk in the carpet padding or the tar film on a smoker's headliner, and if the source is still there the smell returns.

Odor problems and what they need
What ozone actually is
An ozone generator produces O3, which oxidizes odor molecules rather than covering them. It works, and it is the right final step in almost every odor job.
It is also why the car has to be sealed, unoccupied, and then aired out afterward. Ozone is not something to run with people or pets in the vehicle, which is the practical reason this is equipment work rather than a product you use at home.
Book the tier that matches the source
If you can point at what caused it, you want full odor elimination at $199. If the car simply smells stale with no identifiable source, ozone at $50 is usually enough.
What we will tell you up front
Some odors do not come back to neutral in one pass. A long-term smoker's car, a vehicle with mold in the padding, or a spill that reached the floor pan may need a second treatment or may retain a trace of the smell.

- What caused it, if you know. Milk, pet, smoke, and mold are four different jobs.
- How long it has been there, since anything past a few days is usually in the padding rather than on the surface.
- Whether the carpet has ever been wet, which raises the possibility of mold and a leak.
- Whether it is worse when the car is hot or when the A/C runs, which separates a cabin source from an evaporator source.
- Whether anything has already been applied, since heavy fragrance products can complicate treatment.
